[the package is delivered to the family that julia is staying with; they promise to put it in her room, so she's able to see it when she gets back. it's definitely big enough to pique the curiosity of the recipient as to open it as soon as possible, in any case. inside, an amount of homemade goods have been stacked atop each other: teas, soaps, and moisturizing lotions. these should be very familiar, as they are often seen around the treehouse.
something else lies wrapped, though, and once opened, it'll reveal itself to be a scarf, the chosen pattern perhaps a nod to the renewal aspects of old god endeavors.
Oh shit. That would make sense, since she just flat out disappeared afterward. A trickster god could do that with no problem. Well ... any god could. What was his goal? He must have liked the drama.
People were speculating that he was in the artifact, and it would be logical that the Singularity is reacting to someone who isn't usually there, but that sounds like he might've been planning WITH Marcellus. Which a god could easily do from inside an artifact. Maybe he was orchestrating his own escape.
I was one of the people who thought he was bound to the artifact. It made more sense learning he was a herald - there were three that presented the last time. Being locked into the latchkeys would have made sense but now--
--the escape makes the most sense. Marcellus had motive and access to the vaults. I can see how it might have been easy to manipulate him.
I think it's at least time to let others discuss among themselves.
I am a deity, I'm sure I'll be fine. Thank you though.
I'm trying to figure out if the Singularity is pissed he's free in general or if he is specifically inside the Horizon being a pest. The former we can't do anything about, maybe the latter we can find a way to toss him out on his ass.
Sometimes you have to take plans one step at a time. Like dragging a clown god out of the Horizon to make the Singularity stop losing its mind. And then worry about the next part from there.
Maybe we can get another god to intervene. I'll ask around, some of us have pacts with them.
[In the weeks following this post, Julia will receive an embroidered badge, designating them part of Aloy’s monster hunting crew. There doesn’t seem to be anything special about it—it can be sewn anywhere the wearer likes, and appears to have been stitched with a practiced hand.
If the wearer is incapacitated, a spell woven into the threads by Haelva will activate, allowing the user to send an emergency message to another member of the group—use it wisely.]
I mean I basically went down the road I was most afraid of going down, so that's unnerving, BUT thanks to the help of some people who cared about me, I didn't go Dark Phoenix. It could've been worse.
